Biography
Adhiraj Jagdale is the Chief Technology Officer at JobTalk AI, responsible for the voice AI engine, real-time conversation infrastructure, and the platform's multi-language model stack. He leads the engineering team building the systems that power millions of automated candidate phone conversations across staffing agencies and enterprise recruiting teams.
Adhiraj joined JobTalk AI in 2023 to architect the company's voice-first platform from the ground up. His responsibilities span the real-time speech pipeline (recognition, turn-taking, low-latency response generation), the language-model orchestration layer that handles structured screening logic and adaptive follow-up, and the integration layer that synchronizes candidate signals into 90+ applicant tracking systems bi-directionally.
His engineering decisions reflect JobTalk AI's voice-first thesis: that the phone call is the highest-conversion candidate touchpoint, and that building a recruiting AI for the phone requires deeper investment in latency, prosody, and conversational repair than chat-first systems require. The platform now supports natural conversations in 23 languages with regional accents, a capability that required tight integration between Adhiraj's NLP pipeline and the underlying telephony infrastructure.
Adhiraj is based in Pune, India — the engineering hub for JobTalk AI's distributed team — and works closely with leadership across the U.S. and India. His areas of expertise span voice AI, machine learning, real-time systems architecture, Python infrastructure, and the DevOps practices required to run conversational AI in production at scale. He is actively involved in the broader voice AI engineering community and contributes to ongoing discussions on prosody, latency budgets, and the practical operations of running LLM-based agents in regulated B2B environments.
Beyond his day-to-day engineering responsibilities, Adhiraj contributes to JobTalk AI's broader technical strategy: how the platform scales as customers run higher volumes of concurrent screening campaigns, how the model stack evolves as foundation models improve, and how the underlying conversational architecture stays robust as new languages, accents, and edge cases are added. He works closely with the CEO on long-range technical priorities and with the COO on the implementation playbook that brings new ATS integrations and new languages online without regressing reliability.
His perspective shapes JobTalk AI's stance that voice AI for recruiting is fundamentally different from chat AI for recruiting — the latency budgets, the prosody requirements, the failure modes during interruptions, and the compliance demands of recorded phone conversations are all distinct engineering challenges. Adhiraj is part of the small group of engineers in the industry working on production voice AI agents at the scale JobTalk AI operates.
