Abdulla Sheikh

Abdulla Sheikh is a recruitment operations leader with more than 20 years of experience scaling delivery, talent acquisition, and client operations for staffing firms and global IT services companies. He serves as Chief Operating Officer of JobTalk AI, where he is responsible for translating the platform's voice AI capability into reliable, scaled delivery for staffing agency and enterprise customers.

Abdulla joined JobTalk AI in 2023 to build the operational backbone that high-volume recruiting requires: customer implementation, integration enablement, customer success, and ongoing support across hundreds of concurrent campaigns. He brings the practitioner's view of recruiting — how decisions made in product affect a recruiter's daily workflow — to JobTalk AI's design and customer success processes.

In parallel, Abdulla has served as Chief Operating Officer of ApTask since 2010, where he runs recruitment and client delivery operations for an IT staffing and workforce solutions firm with $34M+ in annual revenue. Under his leadership, ApTask scaled its delivery footprint across multiple U.S. locations and built repeatable processes for sourcing, screening, submission, placement, and redeployment in IT, Finance, Accounting, and Blockchain staffing.

Earlier in his career, Abdulla led talent acquisition and deployment for Collabera, a global IT staffing firm, where he was responsible for end-to-end recruiting operations across multiple business lines. He is recognized in the industry as one of the brightest minds in recruitment operations, and is a frequent contributor to internal industry discussions on speed-to-fill, candidate engagement, and the role of automation in recruiter productivity. Abdulla studied at the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and is based in Iselin, New Jersey.

Across his roles at ApTask, Collabera, and now JobTalk AI, Abdulla has consistently focused on the unglamorous but high-leverage parts of recruiting operations: integration enablement with ATS systems, well-instrumented delivery processes, and the customer-success motion that turns a signed contract into measurable placement velocity.
